Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook bursts through the Wales defence
ISLE of Dogs' rugby league star Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook scored an international try within minutes of coming on as substitute.

The replacement entered the fray in the second half of England's 48-12 win against Wales on Friday.

The Harlequins prop showed characteristic physical strength to go over under the posts as England laboured to victory.

Coach Tom Smith took the positives from the win, saying: "We'll get a lot out of that. I am pleased with the hit-out.

"It is no good when the scoreline goes one way and there is a total blowout for one team - you don't learn as much about your defensive structure."

McCarthy-Scarsbrook has not made the squad for the Four Nations tests against France, Australia and New Zealand.
